“Secret Cove” is about a contrast that lets you breathe. Outside, the elements are at work — the water boils against the rocks and promises nothing — while just beside it lies a tiny beach, hidden from view, known only to a few. Seen from above, both states hold together in one frame: the open sea, and a quiet strip of warm sand behind the shoulder of the cliff.

The lighthouse stands where the land runs out. It marks the border without defending anyone from it. This is a work about how stillness doesn’t cancel the force around it: you can let go and lie on warm sand while the great water moves close by. Turquoise shallows, dense blue depth and white foam read as three different voices of the same element.
